The spirit and even the history of skiing in a 5 star hotel in Courchevel 1850.The legendary « Strato » skis, designed in 1965 by Laurent Boix-Vives, who was at the time head of Rossignol, were used by generations of skiers throughout the world, attracting more than a million users and over the years enjoyed the most exceptional sporting success. What name could be better for a hotel combining the sporting spirit and luxury?
A LEGENDARY SKI.
Created in the racing department of Rossignol, this new version of the « Strato » ski was inspired by the legendary ski that brought victory to numerous champions: Annnie Famose in the world Championships in Portillo in 1966 and at the Olympic Games in Grenoble in 1968, skiers of all nationalities at the World Championships in Val Gardena in 1970, Barbara Cochran (USA) and Danielle Debernard (France) at the Olympic Games in Sapporo 1972 and the many victories of Marielle Goitschel. This new ski was entirely designed and handmade by the teams that produce the skis of today’s champions. Without compromise, it was developed with the same materials as skis used by athletes. The central layer of wood is set between two titanial plates and a layer of carbon that the decoration allows you to guess. Its exclusive design will give you great pleasure in skiing. This year a ladies version will also be available.

Where contemporary Art and the respect for traditions meet...Situated in one of the most prestigious resorts of the 3 vallées, the 5 star Strato hotel has a unique décor. A bold mixture of contemporary creations, ancient pieces and works of art, made in craftsmen’s workshops displaying their timeless know how, brings to life this 5 star hotel with a unique décor in the resort of Courchevel, This mixture of chic, sporty and absolute comfort is consistent with the image of Courchevel. It is the work of two talented decorators, Pierre Dubois and Aimé Cécil, better known under their brand name:”Les Héritiers”. The atmosphere is first and foremost plush and elegant: walls of chiseled wood which recall poetically the surrounding nature. Soft lighting and subtle colours: beige, blond, mocha, grey, set off with splashes of violet, orange, silver set the tone for this exceptional hotel.
